“She bore the "Evenstar", as the most beautiful of the last generation of High Elves in Middle-Earth.”
When I founded Evenstar Herbs back in 1987, commercial herbal products were just peeking out from behind closed doors. There were no giant herb companies and grocery and drug stores did not have herbal products on the counter. Evenstar began as small family owned and family run business. We gathered all of our herbs by hand and made all of our herbal products patiently and precisely according to traditional ways.

Wellness and Herbal
For many years we have been very much a traditional herbal company and making all of our herbal products in the traditional ways ourselves. From our Virginia gardens, we gather many of our herbs and we still formulate our herbal products and package them individually when you order. We have changed though, in that being online meant we can connect with the Web of Life across the planet.
In 2007 the FDA established manufacturing guidelines for small companies that make dietary supplements including herbal products. Since then, we have been meeting the requirements that we could and weighing our options.
In light of the significant financial investment (we are looking at six figures) required to meet these new guidelines we have decided to close Evenstar Herbs.
We’ve had a good run, given needed service to our communities, provided a light in the dark for the resurrection of herbalism when it was needed, and lent a healing hand to so many over the years.
Even though we won’t be making and selling Evenstar Herb products to the general public, thanks to a provision in the requirements that allows those who do one-on-one consultations to provide “an end-user formulation”, we will still be able to continue with our primary service of providing personalized herbal products to my consultation clients.
Those whom I work with in my consultation services will still be able to have access to the personally formulated herbs that are a mainstay to your wellness journeys. This is how Evenstar Herbs started and now it seems we are going back to our roots :-)

Even though Evenstar Herbs is closing, Evenstar, is continuing in an evolved form as Woman As Healer.
When I started my company, I was following a vision for creating a place of healing and consciousness shifting. Since then, Evenstar has gone through many transformations. Throughout each of these transformations, I have been guided by my heart’s desire to continually merge multidimensional ancient wisdom with the frontiers of consciousness.
From the beginning, Evenstar has been about the multidimensional nature of healing and the journey to the realization of your True Self, living with deep health, wellness, and well-being. As Evenstar grew and evolved and took on different forms, it became less and less about the journey from being sick to being not sick (not to say that is not important – as it certainly is), and more and more about the leap from being just OK to Thriving and Flourishing.
It was always the ancient wisdom of things unseen that captured my attention. My focus for Evenstar has been to keep it grounded in the art of non-local ancient wisdom and intuition and marry it to the science of true medicine. When I refer to medicine, I am not talking just about conventional medical treatments. Native peoples often refer to medicine as something that gives power and completion to a person. And this is the definition that I bring to Evenstar.
Evenstar was created as an integrated, multi-layer, multi-facetted place of Creative Transformational Living. – with many Houses of Healing. In my vision, true creative living engages with living, healing and coming again to know our self from a holographic, integrated, holistic, evolutionary perspective. Now, as Evenstar Herbs merges into part of Creative Transformational Living, it takes a multidimensional, multi-level approach to supporting the creative force of the body, mind, and spirit in being centered in the fulfillment of their expansion.
Disease, illness, unhappiness, and un-fulfillment are not my sole focus, but rather building resilience and resonant coherence in the body, mind, and spirit. And looking to return and maintain these forces in their full functional capacity and moving beyond that into thriving and flourishing – that is my intention.
Along the way, symptoms of unbalance are resolved.
Now as Evenstar reaches its maturity, it steps into the expansion of fostering the remembrance of the multidimensional capacity of human consciousness. It takes health, wellness and well-being and goes beyond that – reaching deep into the flow of awareness to connect with the journey of the magic of life.
And that journey can start no matter where you are.
So even though Evenstar Herbs relinquishes its present form, my intent is still to hold open the invitation for those I work with to remember and embrace the wholeness of who they really are.
For me, the saddest experience is to see dreams wither. And, the most awesome experience in the world is to see dreams and desires go from mere hopes and wishes to manifested reality.
Your dreams are your inspired gifts to the world and your pathway to bringing yourself to fruition – they are your ultimate healer and purpose in life. Your Dreams are your outward expression of your own Creative Transformational Living.
Farewell, dear Evenstar Herbs costumers!!! It has been a privilege to serve you and we thank you dearly for your association with us. It has been a wonderful time for all :-)
I would love for you to come visit at Woman As Healer and take up your Magical Journey with me in this new form.
"And out you stepped onto new ground,
Your eyes young again with energy and dream,
A path of plenitude opening before you.
Though your destination is not yet clear
You can trust the promise of this opening;
Unfurl yourself into the grace of beginning
That is at one with your life's desire.
Awaken your spirit to adventure;
Hold nothing back,
learn to find ease in risk;
Soon you will be home in a new rhythm,
For your soul senses the world that awaits you. "
